Prof. W.A.Hofer from Newcastle University visited our group, and attended the group meeting
Recently, Prof. Werner A. Hofer from Chemical Physics department of Newcastle University, UK visited our group and attended our group meeting at May 11th.
Prof. Werner A. Hofer's works are focused on theory of scanning tunneling microscope (STM), the theory of microdynamics and quantum paradoxes etc. He has published hundreds of SCI papers, tens of his papers were published on Nature, Nature Chemistry, Physical Review Letters etc. top journals. In 2003 and 2004, he was invited to write 2 review papers about scanning probe microscope (SPM) on Review of Modern Physics and Progress Surface Science. Prof. Hofer also published two books about STM.
